The Therapod 7470 enables the larger person to enjoy smart, modern office seating but with the comfort of a chair designed to accommodate their physical needs.  Like all Therapods this model employs System Therapod adjustable strapping to enable the user to shape the seat back.  The model 7470 has an internal seat width of 600mm, a full 100mm bigger than the standard chair width, which enables well-built employees to fit easily between the seat arms without embarrassment.

To accommodate the additional weight the chair features:

A heavy duty 28 inch polished aluminium base with 50mm hooded chrome castors
An upgraded gas lift to accommodate up to 190kg (30 stone)
Extra thick (100mm) pressure sensitive seat foam
Heavy duty British manufactured advanced synchronised mechanism, with up-rated tension spring
Extra heavy duty T arm with quick release height adjustment
